Ubivox is a Danish email platform built for organisations that need their communication to be sent correctly, to be documentable and to run reliably. We have been sending newsletters for Danish organisations since 2003.
A Danish platform with a narrow focus
We do one thing: an email platform you can rely on. We have done it since 2003, and we have deliberately kept our focus narrow rather than becoming an all-purpose platform that is mediocre at everything. Our customers are municipalities, government agencies, organisations and businesses that send communication that matters. They are the ones we build for, and the ones we know.
A solid Danish solution for secure communication
Ubivox started in 2003 as a web development company under the name GMTA ApS. The year after, the idea of focusing on email came about when the businessman Martin Thorborg asked for a solid Danish solution instead of the American ones, which were large, expensive and cumbersome. We took on that challenge, and the platform has been developing ever since.
Back then, the objection to the American providers was about price and hassle. Today it is about where the data sits, and whether you can document it. We have given the same answer all the way through: a Danish platform, run by Danes, with data primarily in Denmark and always within the EU.
Today Ubivox Technologies ApS is a Danish-founded company, established and owned by Danes. We are owner-managed and privately financed, with no obligations to external capital funds. The owners are in the business every day, and that means we can make decisions based on what is best for the product and the customers, rather than on a demand for a quick exit.

You can check it for yourself
Our infrastructure is audited by an independent third party, and you can have the report sent to you. Our system status is public, including when something has gone wrong.
