The platform is the result of more than 20 years of development. It handles everything from import and export to statistics and analysis.
Built as microservices
Experience has taught us that a platform made of many small services spreads its resources better and falls over less often. So we run microservices that each handle one thing: import and export, merging, sending, statistics, analysis.
The platform is built to survive one service failing without becoming unavailable to customers, recipients and business systems. That is why the uptime is what it is.
European data centres
Our servers sit with European hosting providers, on a private infrastructure where we have full control of both physical and virtual machines. We size the virtual servers ourselves, so each has what its job needs and there is always room for peak load.
Your data is stored primarily in Denmark and always within the EU.
Monitored around the clock
The platform is watched from outside by more than 80 running tests, so we hear immediately if anything becomes unavailable. The servers are monitored for CPU load, memory and free disk space as well.
That is also why we can publish our uptime: you do not have to take our word for the reliability, you can see it. When something affects customers, we say so on the status page.
Backups in more than one place
Talking about data loss is no fun. Having it happen without a backup is less fun.
We take a complete, encrypted backup of all customer data and of the platform every day. It is stored in one place and then transferred to another, so it is safe even if a whole hosting centre were lost.
