Make your newsletters more personal
Do your recipients have a personal contact in your organisation? It might be the salesperson they speak to regularly, the key account manager who looks after the relationship, or the person responsible for their region.
That contact — the human being they already know — can be the sender of your newsletter, without you having to send a unique newsletter to each recipient by hand. The feature that does it is called dynamic sender.
What it does
With dynamic sender you give each recipient their own sender. We use that sender when the email goes out, which makes the communication considerably more personal than a message from a general address.
It works in the other direction too. If the recipient replies, the reply reaches their own contact rather than a shared inbox, so the conversation can carry on where it started.
When it is worth using
It earns its place where the relationship is already personal: account-managed customers, members with a named caseworker, partners with a regional contact. It is worth less where the recipient has no idea who the sender is, and a general address is the honest choice.
